Happy Birthday Averi!!

Our beautiful baby girl turns 5 today! What a blessing she has been in our lives. Here are a few moments of her life I would like to share with you.

Adam wore a Superman shirt at the hospital. When she was born, he proudly refered to himself as "Super Dad". (he really is).

Averi loved to be wrapped super tight and wouldn't relax until she was. She still loves to be hugged really tight.

Few of Averi's favorite things. She loves her Grampy's garden. She could spend hours in that backyard digging, filling birdhouses with birdseed and planting with grampy.

Averi's first pose. Although she for some reason usually avoids the lens of a camera like the plague(she loves being photographed, just can't look at the camea for some reason), she often likes to look at herself in the mirror (or any other refelctive surface). Especially when she is upset, she loves to complain about her rough life in the mirror.

Look at those yummy cheeks in the Fall picture at the pumpkin patch. Who can resist that bald head. (Averi thinks she kinda looks like a boy in that picture but this was during the major fires that year and we were evacuated. We went to the pumpkin patch to pass the time, with our important belongings packed in the car.)

Being born into this family automatically insures steeler parafanalia. This is the year the Steelers won the Super Bowl. She loved shouting "GO PITT", "catch the ball PITT!".

She has always been super organized to the point of obsession. She liked all of her toys in their own container and they never fratenized with one another (until Owen came of course). Notice the JoJo's Circus figures in the picture of her sleeping. These were her first figurines and she carried them around everywhere in a little purse. She could open the purse and notice if one was missing immediately.

Averi loves to dress up. She started very early (thanks to dress up box from grammy). She now loves to dress herself in the morning and is very specific about matching. It took us a long time to explain to her about neutrals matching everything. She loves dresses and skirts.

Averi loves chocolate. What else can be said. Just plain chocolate. Nothing else in it to distract from the taste.

Averi loves her brothers. She has become especially close to Owen and loves to play with him (especially when he's willing to do what she wants or sit in a chair and watch her perform). She also loves Wade and has been such a blessing to me with all of her helping.

Averi loves the beach and the snow. She just loves to be outside swimming and playing.

We love Averi so much. She is so intelligent and willing to learn. She tests our wits and our patience. She is loving and caring. She is funny. She is helpful. She is prayerfull. She is careful. She is talented. She is beautiful. She is special. We love you Averi!! Happy Birthday!
