Cambria's Baptism

My sweet niece Cambria (Josh's Daughter), was baptized on Saturday. I have never seen an 8 year old so aware and so prepared to be baptized. She has such a strong little testimony and told me in great detail how good she felt inside after her dad baptized her. She knows her Heavenly Father and knows of His love for her. What an example.

Her Aunt Trina spoke about Baptism and related it to a shiny new penny. She explained how precious and special she is and that she is joining a long line of those who love her that have made that same decision. She then held up a jar with old tarnished pennies and explained to Cambria that a shiny new penny could easily get lost in a big jar of tarnished ones and that it was so important that she do her best to keep herself clean and to rely on the Sacrifice of our Savior to repent when she makes a mistake. I just thought it was a super cute comparison.

It was amazing how prepared Cambria was for baptism. She was also so proud of her parents and asked them each to get up and give their testimonies. It was a special day.
